 Welcome to the Gateway Chapter of the Association of Legal
Administrator’s website. We have just finished a banner year in every regard and our membership rose to 100
members in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Some of the highlights for the Gateway Chapter during the 2006-2007 year
have been:
- Outstanding monthly educational programs – we
have been able to bring in well-known speakers such as Mark Mariah, David
Thomas, Nancy Nix-Rice and Wendy Werner. One of the main goals of this chapter is to provide legal administrators
with the educational tools to assist them with day-to-day responsibilities in
their firms;
- In April, members and vendors contributed and
assembled over 1,200 Easter baskets for underprivileged children in the St.
Louis Metropolitan area;
- Our Vendor Fair keeps growing in size and
quality; we also added a Vendor Relations Committee;
- Bruce Wilkinson, a well-known speaker on the
national circuit, addressed our chapter on leadership at the Legal Forum in
September;
- Through our Community Challenge project, Trivia
Night and Silent Auction, members and vendors raised over $10,000 for Ronald
McDonald House and Shriner’s Hospital (besides being a whole lot of fun with our
1970’s theme celebrating our 30th Anniversary).
- Social events such as our night at the ballpark
and our Vendor Appreciation Event.
